Did you know that….?

An extra €62 million will be made available this year for those who want to make their owner-occupied home more sustainable. This concerns an extension of the so-called ISDE-regeling, whereby money is available if you want to purchase a heat pump or solar boiler, for example. There is also money for insulating houses or a connection to the heat network.
€228 million had already been made available for this scheme. But the subsidy is so popular that Minister for Climate and Energy Rob Jetten is now making an extra €62 million available. The extra money will be available soon.
How much subsidy you can get depends on your situation and how exactly you go about making it more sustainable. If you do one thing to make your house more sustainable (for example, install a heat pump), you will get about 15% of the costs back. If you take two or more measures, you can recover up to approximately 30% of the costs.
A large part of the total of €290 million has already been paid out, because 64,000 applications have been made so far this year. In addition, a subsidy of €98 million was granted for insulation and another €56 million was paid for the installation of heat pumps.
The subsidy runs through Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO). The organization expects that a total of more than 80,000 applications will be received this year. That is twice as much as last year. The subsidy will continue until 2030.
